I love horror movies. So naturally I am very desensitized to things creepy and scary. However, the Wilson Castle in Vermont is truly a terrifying place. Originally owned by a doctor who was sited for doing unlicensed medical experiments in his home. To add insult to injury, I “broke” in through a window, which means I defiantly did not belong there. Toured the grounds where there was a human sized cage sitting in the backyard, the grand staircase, and the attic. Did not have the balls to venture in the basement, which supposedly was the location of these unsanctioned procedures. This image is looking into the master bedroom. Surprisingly this is now a popular location for weddings. February 2012

Growing up, this was the car I dreamed to have on my trapper keeper. Actually the blue version with the two white stripes was my favorite, but this red monster in person is amazing.

Cape Town, South Africa where the sea lions are sea lovers. In life, simple signs of affection go a long way. I am happy I was able to capture the moment.

There was a whirlwind of racially (not racist, but racial) inspired commentary I had lined up for this. But sadly, I am going to keep calm. I was however; very surprised that in a mostly wealth, Caucasian, well-mannered town there would not be these odd racist totems on people’s front yards! Not sure why I was insulted by this, but for a moment, I was. Then I remembered what I was looking at. This is a portrayal of a young down-and-out Negro boy with exaggerated stereotypical features. If you think about the reverse, a down-and-out cracker with exaggerated stereotypical feature, that would be comical too.

Title: Serenity

On Lake Champlain in Burlington, VT early in the morning is an out of body experience. The raw morning wind mixed with an unknown horizon blanketed with fog is chilling. Taking the time to wake up early to experience this deserves a hearty coffee and maple syrup treat.
